Google’s fledgling “Promoted Videos” are getting a new twist that should help expand the videos’ audience as well as increase revenues for their creators. The Promoted Videos–which already appear on YouTube.com on partner watch pages and alongside YouTube search results–will now begin to appear on AdSense sites.

The ads currently only are available in English to U.S. publishers, but Google says it is looking to expand the product to new regions in the future. Google’s AdSense blog say the Promoted Videos include a thumbnail image with three lines of text, and when clicked, will bring the user to watch a video or view a channel on YouTube. They’re contextually targeted to pages.
